The Sr. Manager - Global Supply Chain will be responsible for developing,
implementing, and overseeing supply chain strategies that optimize global
sourcing, procurement, logistics, supplier quality, and inventory management
across the organization. This is a leadership role overseeing approximately $125
million of annual global spending supporting six factories in the U.S., China,
and India. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring supply
continuity, mitigating risk, and driving cost efficiencies while supporting
business growth.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in global
supply chain management, proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and
strong experience working in highly regulated, complex manufacturing
environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned with corporate
goals, focusing on resiliency, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
Lead dedicated teams for purchasing/procurement, supplier quality, strategic
sourcing, and inventory control.
Integrate strategies across dedicated supply chain teams located in the
U.S., China, and India.
Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, and performance management across a
global supplier base, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality
standards.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical challenges,
regulatory requirements, and single-source dependencies.
Implement data-driven decision making by leveraging ERP/MRP systems, KPIs,
and supply chain analytics to track performance and identify opportunities.
Analyze excess & obsolete inventory trends, identifying root causes for
unnecessary inventory purchases.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program
Management teams to align supply chain initiatives with business needs.
Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to applicable government
regulations, trade compliance requirements, and company policies.
Mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain team across multiple
geographies, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or
related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain management, with
at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Aerospace & Defense industry experience strongly preferred; knowledge of
ITAR, FAR/DFARS, and export compliance required.
Proven track record in supplier development, contract negotiation, and
global sourcing strategies.
Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and digital supply chain tools.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment with shifting
priorities.
