What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take ownership of moderately to highly complex CNC Lathe work
, from programming through production, ensuring every part meets strict aerospace engineering and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes using Mastercam
  • Work with Fanuc and Yaskawa controls
  • Select proper tooling, fixturing, and work holding
  • Perform first article inspections and obtain quality approval
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming challenges
  • Maintain accurate setup documentation and process sheets
  • Use precision measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Keep production on schedule without sacrificing quality
  • Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of CNC Lathe setup & operation experience
  • Strong G-code programming knowledge
  • Solid understanding of GD&T
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience machining aluminum, steel, stainless, and plastics
  • Strong shop math, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Team-oriented with clear communication skills
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Yaskawa platforms
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude — we want pros who take pride in their work
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate’s Degree (preferred)
