Assembler (Entry Level)

The Assembler (Entry Level) performs hands-on assembly of components by following detailed work instructions. This role involves using basic hand tools and packaging equipment to build and prepare sub-assemblies for shipment while maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards on the production floor.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of manual and semi-routine assembly duties according to work instructions.
  • Read and interpret oral and written instructions to complete assembly tasks accurately.
  • Use hand tools and packaging equipment to assemble and package sub-final assemblies for shipping.
  • Complete production records and required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Meet basic assembly standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Maintain equipment and the work area in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
  • Use various basic hand tools safely and effectively during assembly tasks.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations related to the work station and soldering activities.
  • Support production targets by cooperating with changing priorities and workflow needs.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily and weekly production goals.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the required working language to understand instructions and complete documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret oral and written assembly instructions.
  • Basic proficiency in using hand tools and packaging equipment in a production environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness and ability to work occasional overtime as needed to support production demands.
  • Reliability and adherence to attendance policies and production targets.
  • Flexibility and cooperation in responding to changing priorities on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
