Machinist

Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, determined by your professional background.

Work Site: Wallingford, Connecticut.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Employment Status: Full-time.

Our team is seeking individuals for machinist roles across the full spectrum of experience, ranging from those just starting their journey in the trade to seasoned professionals capable of managing equipment setups and operations.

• Manage the setup and function of diverse machinery, such as threading and heading machines, saws, turning centers, machining centers, and manual tools.
• Develop a comprehensive grasp of how equipment functions and what it can achieve.
• Operate several machines at once to maximize output.
• Conduct precise evaluations of finished goods.
• Keep your workspace tidy and systematically arranged to ensure efficiency.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by adhering to protocols and completing necessary safety education.
• Support colleagues with their tasks whenever necessary to ensure team success.

• We invite beginners to apply, as comprehensive training is available.
• Background in machining or a related field is considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in taking measurements, executing basic arithmetic, and adhering to provided directions.
• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities and the capacity to function well both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Capability to lift and maneuver objects between 25 and 50 lbs, with occasional requirements to handle items up to 100 lbs.
• Must have reached at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a mandatory drug test is required.
