Shift leader, Restaurant​/Food Service

Position: Opening Shift Leader
The Daytime Opening Shift Leader is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your leadership abilities. This role, if successfully performed, can lead to long-term management opportunities within and beyond Wallingford's busiest restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Opening the restaurant by 6:30 am for breakfast, preparing beverage stations, cash management, inventory management, delivering food to guests, cleaning & maintaining the front of house and dining room, preparing desserts, bagging orders, taking drive-thru orders on headset and at front counter, executing drive-thru window activities, bagging orders, preparing catering orders, restocking inventory, answering the phone, and addressing guest needs as they arise.

Flexible Hours

This role is ideally a full-time role (40hrs/week); however, we will consider part-time applicants based on availability and capacity to learn. to We understand that you have commitments to your family, friends, school, community, or sports teams. Closed Sundays

All Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sunday, so you can have the day off to rest and spend time with family & friends.

Experience Preferred

Although the ideal candidate will have experience opening (and leading shifts) in a restaurant's front of house operation, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a capacity to master the processes and systems that make us successful.
