This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef role located in Wallingford, CT. The Executive Chef will oversee the kitchen operation, ensuring food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include menu planning, supervising culinary staff, managing inventory and budgeting, training team members, and maintaining effective communication with other departments. The role also involves monitoring customer satisfaction and implementing innovative culinary concepts to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications- Proven experience in Culinary Arts, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and professional kitchen standards
- Strong leadership, team management, and staff training skills
- Ability to manage inventory, budget, and cost control efficiently
- Expertise in menu creation, culinary innovation, and food presentation
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and health regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Prior experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens, preferably in a leadership role
- Formal culinary education or certification is highly desirable
