We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager supports and coordinates activities of relevant commercial stakeholders (sales representative, Kam, FAE’s, ISR) to develop new short/long term business opportunities and directly support certain key accounts.
Give more autonomy to our rep organizations to build their own future with our support by providing them with resources, and objectives but without micromanaging every opportunity. Provide reps with the necessary training to be able to succeed.
Engage rep companies with local distributors and promote joint effort
Promote quick access and exchanges directly with Radiall resources – RSM should be informed but he should not be the conduit of all information – in order to make Radiall’s service more agile and responsive
Work alongside Inside Sales by providing target pricing and recommendations for any strategic or significant RFQs
Monitor high-visibility and special project opportunities to ensure compliance with customer requirements for on-time delivery, pricing, and functionality. Coordinate internal resources accordingly
Obtain market information that may benefit the local business as well as other territories and business partners (Sales Representative, KAMs, FAEs, ISRs, management, etc.) and share it as needed
Understand the customer strategy as well as their financial, competitive and operational climate and relay that information to Randall's co-workers who may be impacted by this information (e.g. production rates – operations; cost savings initiatives – management, Marketing, Engineering, etc.)
Support efforts of Business Development managers and follow up on their requests to reps
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience may substitute for some of the above education
- Advanced-Level: 5+ years of relevant work experience, Technical or managerial experience
Job Skills , Specialized Knowledge or Certifications
- Conduct comprehensive analyses to understand and address customer needs
- Manage contract progression, including negotiation and ensuring timely execution
- Develop and execute sales action plans to target key customers and opportunities
- Identify business opportunities and potential areas for growth within accounts
- Oversee customer sourcing and account management, maintaining strong client relationships
- Apply industry knowledge to understand company markets and the industries of assigned customers
- Deliver timely, responsive, and effective customer service, addressing concerns and managing expectations
- Pursue strategic business development opportunities, including partnerships and new markets
- Communicate the strategic and financial value of offerings through value-based selling
