Housekeeping Assistant –
Amster Group
Wallsend residential care home – 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Provide coverage and support across Kitchen Assistant, Laundry Assistant, and Domestic Assistant roles.
- As Kitchen Assistant: maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen; wash crockery, cutlery, utensils; set and clean tables; assist meal preparation and serving light meals and beverages.
- As Domestic Assistant: maintain general cleanliness of the home; clean communal areas, bedrooms, toilets, bathrooms, laundry, hairdressing salon, offices, and other required areas.
- As Laundry Assistant: keep laundry area tidy and organized; ensure residents' clothes are laundered, ironed, mended, and returned to residents.
- Work flexible shifts and adapt to varying durations; must be flexible, willing to work hard, and adaptable.

- Paid breaks.

- Public holiday work attracts time and a half.
