In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial operations and contributing to the success of our client's business.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Accountant, you will:

+ Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.

+ Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Maintain the general ledger, analyzing and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes when needed.

+ Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial and accounting inquiries.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and best practices.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with:

Education:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

1-3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar tools).

Knowledge:
Familiarity with GAAP and general accounting principles.

Technical Aptitude:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
