Job Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly overhead and G&A expense reports with detailed variance analysis.
- Compile labor cost data and assist in annual rate-setting activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to automate financial reporting and improve efficiency.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction accounting is required.
- Hands-on experience with construction accounting systems;
Vista Viewpoint is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion methods.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proactive and adaptable work style with a focus on continuous improvement.
