Aprio is a progressive, fast‑growing public‑accounting firm seeking a Manager, Assurance Services – Real Estate to join its Assurance team.
Position Responsibilities- Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
- Conduct multiple auditing projects and client engagements.
- Take responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
- Develop detailed engagement work plans.
- Illustrate budgets and schedules.
- Actively participate in proposals.
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback.
- Continuously foster relationships with coworkers and clients.
- Effectively communicate with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, status of engagements and other matters.
- Developed specialties in the Real Estate space.
- Nonprofit, Affordable Housing experience preferred.
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensed CPA.
- 4‑7 years of experience working for a public accounting firm.
- Energetic management, coaching, and development of staff accountants.
- Strong analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and coworkers.
- Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently.
- Knowledge of audit software Case Ware (Case View) a plus.
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
