Accounting Intern

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our outsourced accounting team. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates who are eager to gain hands‑on experience with real‑world accounting practices. You’ll assist with core bookkeeping tasks, account reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple clients across various industries.

Founded in 2018, TL2 is a women-owned business specializing in outsourced accounting services. Leveraging our extensive experience from prominent industry firms, we saw an opportunity to create something new. We recognized the need to move away from conventional methodologies prevalent in large corporate environments, which are often burdened by bureaucratic hurdles, male‑dominated cultures, and outdated practices.

Motivated by innovation and client‑centricity, TL2 aims to revolutionize traditional accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording day-to-day financial transactions using accounting software (e.g., Quick Books Online, Xero, Net Suite)
• Prepare and reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Help generate and format basic financial reports
• Assist with month-end close procedures
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of client financial records
• Maintain documentation and organize client files
• Collaborate with senior accountants and staff to ensure client deadlines are met

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
