Construction Assistant Project Manager – Single Family Homes

Our construction client is looking for a Construction Assistant Project Manager for Single Family Homes projects in the Walnut Creek area.

• Designing, planning, directing, and coordination of construction activities to complete a successful project.
• Maintain the project documentation and communicate with clients, architects, city officials, subcontractors, and vendors during the course of the project to ensure the project is built per plans and specification and within the defined schedule and budget.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Maintaining Procore system, processes, and controls, including submittals, RFI's, scheduling, change orders, and contract management.
• Performing budget management, RFP's ASI's drawings distributions, and maintaining general knowledge of all scopes work.
• Reviewing financial forecasts to ensure timely completion of projects on schedule and budget.

• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of construction Assistant Project Manager experience. Candidates with Project Manager experience will not be considered.
• Ground up single family homes project experience required.
• Proficiency in Procore, Onscreen Take off, Microsoft Project, and Sage 100.

• Salary: $115-140K depending on experience.
