Role Description The Dentist role is a part-time to possible full-time, on-site position located in Walnut Creek, CA. The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of restorative and preventive services such as fillings, root canals, implants, crowns, cleanings, and periodontal care. Daily responsibilities include performing clinical procedures, reviewing patient histories, interpreting diagnostic images, educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment options, and documenting all care in accordance with regulatory and practice standards.

The Dentist will collaborate with dental assistant and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow, maintain a safe and sterile environment, and support high-quality patient outcomes. Participation in case discussions, continuing education, and practice improvement initiatives is expected.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school and current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in New York State (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, basic endodontics, and preventive care, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options clearly, obtain informed consent, and interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a dental team setting, including coordination with hygienists, assistants, and front-office staff to support efficient, patient-focused care.
  • Dedication to infection control, safety protocols, and accurate clinical documentation, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to manage a full-time clinical schedule, prioritize multiple cases, and maintain professionalism under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Prior experience in a general dentistry practice or residency is preferred; additional skills in cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration, or pediatric care are a plus.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to adopting new techniques and technologies, and interest in contributing to practice growth.
  • Preference in ability to speak Russian language, but open to all.
