Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Job Captain located in Walnut Creek, CA. The Job Captain will manage the production and coordination of construction documents, assist with project programming and design development, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities also include collaborating with team members, consultants, and clients to deliver high-quality architectural projects on time and within scope.

Attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential for coordinating across disciplines and supporting project architects.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in creating and managing construction documents, including knowledge of relevant codes and regulations
  • Experience in project programming, space planning, and design development for architectural projects
  • Strong skills in design software such as Revit and AutoCAD, as well as familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, consultants, and clients effectively
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus
  • Knowledge or experience with sustainable design principles and energy-efficient practices is highly desirable
