Job SummaryCCCS is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher for our campus in Walnut Creek, CA. The Preschool Teacher position is year-round, following the CCCS academic calendar from August through May, including Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break Camps, as well as Summer Camp from June to July. This is a team‑teaching position, offering the opportunity to share responsibilities, learn from one another, and work in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Work with a team to implement Preschool and Pre‑K curriculum, teach, and administer all required duties for safe and effective operation of the preschool.
- Adapt activities and support to meet the diverse needs of each child.
- Supervise lunch, play time, and other events as assigned.
- Maintain open communication with parents and provide updates on child development.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom to foster a conducive learning environment.
- Follow established protocols for preschool operations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Preschool Director.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to run, squat or kneel, bend at the waist, quickly react and respond to a child's needs, conflicts and/or emergencies.
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs at a time including pushing and pulling furniture and other related objects in the classroom.
- 12+ ECE Units or higher
- CPR Certification
- Commitment to the Christian faith aligning with CCCS statement of faith

- Compensation range $22 - $27 per hour, commensurate with teaching experience and education.
