After School Assistant Program Coordinator - MDUSD - Concord,CA.

We're looking for reliable and energetic Site Assistants to support daily after-school operations and student supervision. This part-time Assistant will play a crucial role reporting to the Program Coordinator and supporting the successful operation of our youth development and after-school programs, focusing on key areas to ensure quality and compliance.

Schedule:

PT 12 a 6pm

Hourly Pay Rate: $30

In this role, you will:

• Assist with daily student check-in and check-out procedures
• Help monitor transitions between activities and ensure proper supervision ratios
• Remain on site until all students have been safely dismissed and the last child has been picked up
• Support Educators in setting up materials and maintaining clean, safe environments
• Communicate supply needs, attendance issues, or incidents to the Site Coordinator
• Assist with managing snack distribution and cleanup
• Provide additional coverage or supervision when needed
• Uphold HOKALI's safety standards and report any incidents immediately

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• An educational background in education, child development, or a related field is highly preferred
• Passion for education and working with kids
• Strong leadership and professionalism skills when working with schools and students
• Experience working in schools and leading large teams
• Ability to engage and inspire students in a fun and educational environment
• Ability and willingness to complete 6 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
