Mid to Senior Level Structural Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Structural Engineer to join our team.

• Perform detailed structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, working with other project team members to integrate requirements into the structural design and coordinate design details between various disciplines.
• Perform and document calculations, drawing markups for drafting and review calculations.
• Prepare reports, plans, and specifications.
• Prepare technical memoranda, electronic deliverables.
• Provide engineering services during construction.
• Oversee junior staff professionals, staff work, and assigned projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of structures.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer.
• Strong structural engineering design and detailing skills.
• Demonstrated ability in design of concrete and steel structures and foundations.
• Knowledge of structural design codes and standards.
• Experience preparing construction drawings.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and project team.
• Highly motivated, articulate, and self‑starting.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with STAAD or RISA‑3D.

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with ASCE 41 seismic evaluations.
• Licensed Structural Engineer.

$104,000 to $147,000 annually. Salary may be adjusted within this range based on education, experience, performance, and other factors.
