Project Manager (Building Engineering Services)

As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you will help design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. Your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience across data centers, semiconductor, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities- Plan and manage all aspects of small‑to‑medium building engineering design projects in domains such as data centers, semiconductor, industrial, and infrastructure.
- Support Senior Project Management on large‑scale projects.
- Participate actively in project pursuits and develop project scope.
- Coordinate work of professional staff of architects and/or engineers.
- Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Review with governing agencies to ensure compliance.
- Conduct design development sessions and contract document preparation with multidisciplinary staff.
- Manage project workload through development, ensuring documentation is completed on schedule.
- Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to stay within agreed schedule and budget parameters.
- Facilitate or participate in project reviews with accounting and technical team management.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Engineering or Architecture degree.
- Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect.
- PMP certification.
- Familiarity with earned‑value management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 7 years of related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
- Strong ability to interact with various design teams and excellent organizational, project‑management, and communication skills.
