Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
- Manage the monthly close process and prepare consolidated financial reports and analysis.
- Supervise cash management activities and ensure timely tax compliance and reporting.
- Document processes and roles across the accounting team to support consistency and efficiency.
- Partner with the CFO to drive process improvements and implement automation initiatives.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive accounting experience is required.
- Prior experience in construction accounting is essential.
- Strong understanding of WIP, percentage-of-completion, and revenue recognition methods.
- Experience with Vista Viewpoint software is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
