Senior Financial Analyst

Job Overview

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to assess past & present financial data, estimate future revenues & expenditures for MSS business in North America (US, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Caribbean), track financial performance against business plans, and assist senior management in making tactical and strategic decisions.

• Assist with analyzing financial data and provide forecasting support.
• Develop financial models and forecasting that help with decision‑making.
• Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as yearly growth, price index, profit forecast, forecast vs. budget, and accounts receivable turnover.
• Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify opportunities for performance and process improvement across the organization.
• Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new industry regulations or policies.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years of related financial, planning, and analysis experience.
• Experience with in complex public companies that have multiple legal entities.
• Familiarity with financial programs and software such as SAP, Power BI or other analytical tools.
• High degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines in a time‑sensitive environment.
• Possess the highest standards of integrity, business controls, and business practices.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel, across functions, organizations, and with external contacts.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, collaboratively, and cross‑culturally.

This position requires 4 days per week office attendance at our Walnut Creek, CA location.

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, representing the annual base salary only. It does not include a 20% quarterly bonus or other incentives. The role also offers a competitive benefits package including a 401(k) retirement plan, medical/dental/life/disability programs, PTO, and casual sick days.
