Position: Business Banking Relationship Manager 4 -East Bay

Role Responsibilities
  • Allocate 65–70% of time to active prospecting, self‑sourcing business, building a book from the ground up, and driving new client acquisition.
  • Build, develop, enrich and manage new and existing relationships with business clients.
  • Deliver financial expertise and client‑centric solutions that build strong, long‑term relationships.
  • Assess and attend to clients' banking needs.
  • Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
  • Recommend financial solutions based on each client’s unique goals and needs.
  • Partner effectively with Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Business Banking Credit Card teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge of local market.
  • Strong business‑to‑business sales skills and business development abilities.
  • Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting with commercial credit training preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis.
  • Broad knowledge of bank products and services that results in successfully identifying appropriate opportunities to sell the bank’s products.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts.
Location & Schedule

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule. If not prospecting and meeting with clients, there is an in‑office expectation of 3 or more days per week with the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
