Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our team!

- Develop effective treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physicians
- Treat patients according to the physician treatment plan
- Assist nursing staff with training Restorative Aides
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in patient care, following state practice acts
- Communicate patient progress and issues with supervisors and healthcare team members
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation conferences as needed
- Conduct in-service training for staff and document evaluations, treatment notes, progress notes, and recertifications per regulations
- Record treatment modifications and instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance and caregiver training for discharge planning
- Recommend and arrange necessary durable medical equipment to promote patient independence
- Report equipment issues to ensure proper maintenance
- Valid Occupational Therapy License
