Role Overview Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and skilled
** Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
** to join our premier in-house therapy team. We are looking for a clinician with at least one year of experience who is ready to provide high-level diagnostic and therapeutic services in a collaborative, fast-paced rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities
* ** Comprehensive Diagnostics:
** Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, ensuring physician approval for all services.
* ** Clinical Excellence:
** Deliver evidence-based treatments and adjust protocols as necessary to meet evolving resident needs.
* ** Leadership & Mentorship:
** Serve as a clinical preceptor for affiliating student programs and CFY clinicians, providing expert guidance and supervision.
* ** Interdisciplinary

Collaboration:

** Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review (UR), and Rehabilitation meetings to ensure integrated care.
* ** Education & Training:
** Lead in-service training for facility staff and provide specialized caregiver training and maintenance programs for families during discharge planning.
* ** Compliance:
** Maintain precise documentation, including evaluations and progress notes, in strict accordance with the SLP Board State Practice Act and payer requirements.

Qualifications
* Current, valid
** Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
** in the state of California.
* Minimum of
** 1 year of experience
** in a clinical setting (preferred).
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate positively to residents, families, and colleagues.
