We are currently looking for a high energy, compassionate, organized, and team-oriented individual to fill a Per Diem Licensed Hospice Home Health Aide (HHA) position
. In this essential role, you will work closely with our Hospice Director of Nursing, clinical staff, and front office team to ensure coordinated patient care and provide support to our healthcare professionals, while assisting in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with an established care plan in the San Francisco Peninsula.

• Perform personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.)
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion
• Meet safety needs of patients and use medical equipment safely
• Skin care to prevent tissue breakdown
• Take vital signs

• Proven working experience as a home health aide
• Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Nursing and health care administration skills
• Caring and compassionate personality

• Valid HHA License with the State of California
• Valid Driver License
• Reliable Transportation
• Flexibility to cover a 15-25 mile radius
• Minimum 1 year of HHA or caregiving experience
• First Aid and CPR Certification
• High School Degree
