Vice President, Digital Channels Business Systems Analyst – Transaction Banking

Transaction Banking Product and Digital Channels teams comprise professional Product Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Support representatives, and Project Managers who develop and support online banking products to serve our customers’ needs. This role is for an ambitious candidate with 5+ years of Business Analyst experience who is pursuing a career in Transaction Banking Product Management and software development. You will provide daily ownership of business‑focused tasks and collaborate with internal teams in the delivery of Transaction Banking deposit, online, and mobile products.

• Manages the gathering and documentation of requirement specifications for future global digital banking products and enhancements.
• Supports online product deployment, including user acceptance testing and production validation (may occur outside of business hours).
• Collaborates with technology teams to ensure testing environments are available and staged appropriately with clean data for continuous software development and testing.
• Provides support to Product Management team, including incident management participation for triage of problem tickets, escalation, and resolution of client impact.
• Provides support to Client onboarding and implementation teams, including inquiries related to system configuration for customer setup and user maintenance.
• Proactively communicates identified system issues and defects as an advocate for outstanding customer experiences.
• Actively ensures compliance with the Bank’s Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti‑Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security, and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Successfully completes all requisite corporate and business line compliance training.

• Experience in Transaction Banking with familiarity of online cash management and various host‑to‑host connectivity protocols including ISO 20022 payments and information reporting standards.
• A four‑year college degree (e.g., B.A., B.S.) preferably with a science, technology, engineering or math background.
• Advanced degree or MBA is not required but would be advantageous.
• Ability to understand, synthesize, and break down complex system and business requirements.
• Creative problem solver who is willing to work hard and learn.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and perform in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must work in‑person at a MUFG office a minimum of 4 days per week.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $109K - $161K depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary performance‑based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
