About the Position

The IT Supervisor (ITS) is an onsite position responsible for fostering collaborative relationships and managing daily IT support operations. The role ensures service level agreements are met, builds team excellence, validates system accesses and communicates outages, serves as a subject matter expert for IT asset and change management, supports audits and exams, and handles occasional travel for hardware replacements.

Responsibilities
  • Foster meaningful, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Manage daily IT support, ensuring timely and accurate handling of personnel requests.
  • Serve as the primary contact for managed service providers and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Guide and support the IT Support Team to deliver responsive, high-quality technical support.
  • Validate system accesses and communicate outages, system disruptions, and known IT issues.
  • Act as subject matter expert for IT asset management, change management, application support, audio/visual and network/telephony systems, and infrastructure refresh programs.
  • Partner closely with the Director of IT, providing leadership support in their absence.
  • Maintain global awareness of system-wide events, assist with troubleshooting, and coordinate outages or critical events.
  • Identify issues, improve processes, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
  • Support the bank in obtaining satisfactory ratings on audits and exams, and handle tasks related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Travel occasionally to various bank locations for hardware replacements and repairs.
Qualifications Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or 3 years of equivalent experience.
  • CompTIA Network+ and Security+ preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent training or education, preferred.
Knowledge Required
  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Information Technology, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN infrastructure, SD‑WAN, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST and other compliance standards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft
    365/Active Directory, Azure Cloud Platform, Citrix Hosted Virtual Desktop Interface, and IT service management tools such as Service Now.
Experience Required
  • Minimum 4years of IT experience managing end‑to‑end IT operations, including service desk, ticketing systems, application support, system updates, vendor coordination, IT service management tools, and networking.
  • Minimum 2years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred.
