Data Platform Architect (Green Card holder or US Citizen required)
We are seeking a Data Engineering and Analytics Leader to oversee the architecture of our data platform that supports business analytics and dashboard development. The role involves collaborating with executive stakeholders, designing end‑to‑end data pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Architect data structure from ingestion to visualization using Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau.
- Implement best practices for the data stack to ensure maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Provide expertise in data warehouse modeling and development for Snowflake.
- Exercise optimal data modeling practices for non‑uniform data sets.
- Provide best practices for source code control with Git Hub.
- Design and maintain data security access controls.
- Develop SQL, HTML, and/or JavaScript code to optimize the stack or generate views for visualization.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver to stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor junior data developers.
- BS in Computer Science (emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus).
- 10‑12 years of Data Engineering, Development, and visualization experience.
- 6‑8 years of data warehouse experience (Snowflake DWH preferred).
- 6‑8 years of SQL experience (Snowflake SQL preferred).
- 2‑4 years of dbt experience; semantic layer experience is a plus.
- 3‑5 years of experience with Git Hub and CI/CD tools for the modern data stack.
- 3‑5 years of Tableau Cloud or equivalent modern data stack experience.
- 2+ years of Python development and HTML/JavaScript experience as it relates to Tableau.
- Experience with enterprise systems:
Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, Oracle BI, Jira, and financial planning applications (Anaplan, Adaptive). - Fluent written and verbal communication skills.

- Salary range: $176,000 – $210,000 plus annual incentive bonus (unlimited).
