Construction and Main Street Book of Business | Hybrid or Remote

Due to continued growth across both our construction and Main Street divisions, we are excited to add an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support a book of business that is a balanced mix of construction and Main Street business accounts. About the Position

This role supports a diverse portfolio of construction and Main Street clients. You will service an established book of business with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. The position includes daily client interaction, renewal strategy, coverage analysis, and coordination with internal service staff.

You will be supported by an experienced assistant who handles certificates of insurance, routine endorsements, and administrative requests so you can focus on strategy, renewals, and meaningful client work.

For local candidates, this is a hybrid position with 2 days a week in our Downtown Walnut Creek office and the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the week. We believe flexibility drives performance. For highly qualified candidates outside the local area, a fully remote arrangement will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and service a diverse book of construction and Main Street business accounts with technical precision and responsiveness
  • Lead renewals and coverage strategy with confidence and strong communication
  • Handle day to day client requests including endorsements, coverage questions, and policy interpretation
  • Navigate complex certificates of insurance, contractual insurance requirements for construction clients, and standard servicing needs for Main Street businesses
  • Review policies and endorsements to ensure alignment with client operations and contracts
  • Utilize the EPIC agency management system for documentation, servicing, and workflow management
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager
  • Demonstrated experience servicing construction accounts and Main Street business accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto, Umbrella, and Property
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the service team
  • Experience with EPIC or a willingness to learn
  • Active Property and Casualty license
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000+, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates
  • 100 percent medical insurance covered for the employee and 50 percent for family
  • Dental, disability, and 401K with a 5 percent match
