$19.00/hr - $22.80/hr

• Clean public areas and resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Perform all housekeeping duties, including but not limited to: distributing laundered articles and linens; changing beds; cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies; sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; dusting furniture; polishing metalwork; washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Perform all laundry duties: washing, drying, and ironing resident laundry and community linens; folding and/or hanging laundry; distributing laundered articles and linens; changing bedding
• Maintain resident laundry areas, mop floors, and wash walls regularly
• Wash windows at reasonable heights; keep utility and storage rooms locked and in clean and orderly condition
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies; stock cleaning cart with supplies; empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas
• Work with Maintenance to keep trash and dumpster areas clean
• Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly to Supervisor; report unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned

• Greet residents and guests; serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads as needed
• Review menu, take resident orders, and serve meals and desserts
• Assist with storage of perishable items; deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
• Bus and clear dishes; reset tables following sanitizing procedures; vacuum carpets
• Complete side work and other tasks as assigned
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Effective communication in English with employees and residents
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time)
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must successfully complete all Atria-specified training programs, including Serve Safe Certification
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as irons, washers & dryers, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts and arrive on time
