Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time: PM shift 3pm-11pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Tampico Healthcare Center in Walnut Creek, California. As a CNA, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), vital sign monitoring, and basic nursing care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with ADLs, vital sign monitoring, and basic nursing care

• Assist with medical procedures and treatments, as directed by licensed nurses

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Participate in care planning and implementation

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development

Requirements:

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification

• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification

• No prior CNA experience required; new grads welcome!

• Knowledge of basic medical asepsis and standard precautions

• Ability to contribute to a patient-centered environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients

• Ability to work rotating shifts and different units

Work Environment:

• Our 128-bed skilled nursing rehabilitation center is located in Walnut Creek, California, within walking distance to John Muir Medical Center
