* Job Description:

** Working with physicians and oncology service line staff, the Nurse Navigator/Patient Educator / Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, facilitating and/or coordinating system-wide patient care services developed for specific malignancies. The Nurse Navigator /Patient Educator will function as a patient advocate and resource, program coordinator/developer, clinical educator, and program marketing expertise. The Nurse Navigator /Patient Educator will develop and maintain a high degree of expertise and knowledge regarding state of the art technology and services related to Oncology and adhere to the Health System mission in providing quality care service.

*** Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required
* Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing Preferred
* Master's Degree Accredited School of Nursing Preferred

* Experience:

*** Nursing - Oncology Preferred
** Certifications/Licensures:
*** OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse Preferred
*
* Skills:

*** Excellent writing and presentation skills.
* Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook).
* Excellent leadership skills.
* Ability to work well with physicians, health care professionals, and community organizations.

Oncology experience preferred. Nurse Navigation experience highly preferred. Experience in Breast Cancer Highly preferred.##
