Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 26‑week assignment in Walnut Creek, California, starting 28 July 2026. The role will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, including management of conditions such as pregnancy hypertension and Bakari balloon placement.

• Provide nursing care to laboring patients and those on the postpartum floor.
• Assist with vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.
• Monitor patients with hypertension and other pregnancy complications.
• Administer medications and manage IVs.
• Collaborate with EPIC EMR for documentation.
• Float to similar units as needed.

• Current California RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience on the labor and delivery floor preferred.

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Clinical Laboratory Standards (CLS) certification.
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification.
• EPIC EMR experience.
