As an experienced fertility or women’s health Lead Clinical Nurse, you will be working in a fast‑paced, rapidly growing environment where your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration are relied upon. This role is based out of our Bay Area clinics, covering East Bay and San Francisco.
Responsibilities- Supervision of a team of nurses and clinical assistants
- Coordination of the daily clinical flow to ensure smooth running of daily office functions; including creating and monitoring nursing staff schedules and responsibilities
- Providing leadership and management to the nursing team and cultivating a culture of teamwork and camaraderie
- Ensuring safe, kind and compassionate care for our patients
- Handling patient queries throughout the day and liaising with medical teams to ensure appropriate escalation
- Providing a high level of clinical support in outpatient surgical procedures (e.g., hysteroscopy, egg retrieval)
- Demonstrating good communication skills with colleagues, patients, and staff
- Being open to change in the department and learning new skills as needed
- Demonstrating teamwork by being flexible and building good working relationships with colleagues
- Providing education and support to the nursing team
- Responsible for the safe administration and custody of medications
- Assisting with implementation of new KindWAYS as it relates to nursing workflows; challenging those who are not meeting the standards of the trust or following the KindWAYs
- Acting as a liaison between CX and clinical support
- Ensuring timely follow‑up for all coordinated patients, navigating them in their journey
- Gathering feedback on workflows and working with leadership to streamline processes and job specifications to gain efficiencies
- Educating patients on infertility evaluations and managing patient requirements for treatment, including maintaining informed consents, reviewing patient checklists, and consistent communication with patients about next steps
- Coordinating patient treatment plans (e.g., Egg Freezing, IUI, In Vitro Fertilization, Frozen Embryo Transfers, third party reproduction cases)
- Providing patient/couple counseling, procedure/injection teaching, and communicating physician orders and instructions
- Ensuring all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures
- Routine phlebotomy as needed, administering injections, placement of IVs
- Working independently to assure the program goals are achieved
- Collaborating closely with Physicians and the clinic team
- Assisting physician with lab reviews and patient communications
- Other nursing duties as assigned
- 5+ years experience as a nurse in a fertility practice or OB/GYN
- A passion for women’s health and fertility
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of IL
- Active BLS and ACLS certification
- Experienced in EMR and G‑Suite
- Ultrasound experience preferred
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to challenging situations
- Detail oriented
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
- Exemplifies strong customer service skills and professionalism
- Experience with care coordination
- Comfortable taking on phone calls when needed
- Experienced working with high patient volume
