Responsibilities
This position is responsible for coordinating and conducting clinical and business training for employees working in outpatient practices. The role includes developing training plans, creating training materials, and managing the full training cycle—assessing needs, planning, developing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating training initiatives.
Qualifications- Education:
Completion of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Program (Required). - Experience:
5 years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Ambulatory – Multi-specialty Setting (Preferred); 12 months in Information Technology or Healthcare Technology (Preferred). - Certifications/Licenses:
Licensed Vocational Nurse – California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (Required);
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (Required).
- Ability to complete the full training cycle and work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of LVN scope of practice, knowledge of medications, medical terminology, and standard medical equipment used in primary and specialty care settings.
- Sound critical thinking and ability to integrate clinical concepts into daily tasks and training content.
- Experience performing and/or assisting with common administrative and clinical responsibilities within the LVN scope of practice.
- Ability to develop workflows, processes, and training content based on clinical knowledge.
- Advanced organizational skills and capacity to handle multiple assignments.
- Competence in clinical/business operations and medical terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Preferred experience with electronic medical records such as EPIC and MyChart.
Shift: 08:00 – 16:30, United States of America. Weekly hours: 40. Positions listed as hourly are exempt under the Manager level for compensation purposes. Pay Range: $38.04 – $51.35 per hour, adjusted based on experience, licensure, and local market conditions.
