The Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse (RN) position is based in an emergency healthcare setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage a high patient turnover. The position is suitable for experienced RNs comfortable with electronic medical record systems and capable of handling diverse patient needs.
Job Details- Specialty:
Emergency Room - Shift: 12-hour shifts with rotating start times at 5:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:00 AM. The schedule includes a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
Valid California licensed registered nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association only), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (American Heart Association only) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, at least 2 years of recent ER experience, superior references, EPIC electronic medical record system experience. - Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), 3-5 years of ER experience, trauma experience, pediatric experience. - Travel:

The ER has a daily patient census of approximately 190-200 with rapid patient discharge and occasional inpatient admissions. Nurses must be able to critically think, manage a high-paced environment, and handle ambulance triage at the bedside. The patient population is generally well-educated, with a focus on nursing excellence and patient experience. - Start Date:
