Investment & Leasing Officer

Our client, EQT Real Estate (formerly EQT Exeter), is a global leader in real estate investment management and one of world's largest owner/developers of industrial real estate with $58B in AUM. They are looking to grow their presence in Nor Cal and would like to find an Investment/Leasing Officer (ILO) to lead their efforts in this market.

EQT currently has a 15M sq.ft. portfolio of industrial space in Nor Cal, and is extremely well-funded with big expansion plans. This ILO will be the lead person executing these plans for Nor Cal!

• Job Title - Investment & Leasing Officer (ILO)
• Source new building acquisitions and land development opportunities
• Pursue build-to-suit and buy-to-suit opportunities
• Hire listing brokers and manage the leasing process
• Develop strong relationships in the commercial brokerage community
• This is essentially a "Market Leader" role for Nor Cal (and possibly Reno)
• Very attractive compensation package to include a base salary + commissions + LTI's

• 10+ years of industrial leasing and/or acquisitions experience in the local market
• A great network and connections within the local brokerage community
• Proven success in leasing and/or acquiring industrial real estate
• Desire to be actively engaged in networking and sourcing off-market opportunities
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate or related field is required

It's worth noting that EQT will now be listing many (if not all) of their properties for lease with local brokerage shops and not self-performing all of their leasing.
