Location:
Walnut Creek, CA – minimum 4 days in office per week.
The Sales Operations Specialist manages the business relationship with existing clients and prospects, supporting all steps of the sales and distribution cycle in the US Division, including quoting, purchase order confirmation, product allocation, invoicing, distribution, and claim management.
Primary Responsibilities- Provides overall support for sales operations and purchase order execution/fulfillment with clients in the US Division.
- Manages the order management process from quoting to finish using CRM/ERP tools.
- Reviews and processes client orders/contracts with a high level of accuracy.
- Actively involved in the RFP and contract execution process.
- Tracks and follows up on orders, using attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Maintains relationships with salespersons, clients, and stakeholders; addresses and resolves key client complaints, acting as the main point of contact.
- Coordinates and completes module deliveries on time and within scope, monitoring contract progress and ensuring required documentation is submitted on time.
- Co‑ordinates with internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of multiple project deliveries by arranging recurring meetings.
- Ensures product availability and allocation, collaborating with the planning team.
- Provides clients with status of contracted deliveries and confirms delivery schedules.
- Provides clients with technical and administrative product information and analysis.
- Collaborates with billing for project invoicing and with the credit department for any AR issues or client credit availability.
- Works with order fulfillment and logistics to execute client orders successfully.
- Communicates closely with Regional Sales Managers to identify sales strategy for each account (pricing, terms, product, availability).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- 2-3 years of B2B sales support, account management, or client services experience.
- AA/BA/BS degree preferred.
- Detail oriented.
- Experience in the Solar Industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in databases and analytical tools such as SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally.
- Results oriented, organized, highly motivated, and creative.
- Ability to prioritize and multi‑task.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary of $100,000–$120,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) retirement plan, medical/dental/life/disability program, paid time off, and sick days. This is a full‑time position.
