Client Services Representative
Eco Performance Builders is a well-established and rapidly growing licensed general, HVAC, and insulation contractor dedicated to enhancing homes for optimal efficiency, comfort, and sustainability. With 14 years of industry experience, we take pride in making existing homes more energy‑efficient and comfortable.
We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and personable Client Services Representative to become a key part of our client experience and day-to-day operations.
This is first and foremost a client service position. You will often be the first person a prospective or existing client speaks with, so excellent communication, listening skills, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential. The right person will also be self-directed, comfortable with technology, eager to learn, and interested in understanding the technical aspects of the work we do.
Key Responsibilities Client Service & Phone Communication- Serve as the primary person answering our phones and one of the first points of contact for prospective and existing clients. You’ll listen carefully to understand prospective clients' needs, educate them about our services, answer initial questions, and help determine whether our company is a good fit for their project.
- This position involves both incoming and outbound calls, so you should enjoy speaking with people and be comfortable initiating conversations. Excellent phone etiquette, a friendly and professional speaking voice, strong listening skills, and attention to detail are important.
- Schedule sales visits and home walkthroughs for prospective clients and help coordinate other appointments as needed.
- Follow up with clients at the completion of their projects to ensure they are satisfied and identify any outstanding items that need to be communicated to the appropriate team member.
- You should be tech‑savvy and eager to learn new software as our company relies on a variety of software and digital tools to manage clients, projects, scheduling, and communication.
- We also value people who proactively identify opportunities to improve our systems and processes. If you see a way to better organize information, simplify a workflow, or improve how the company operates, we want you to speak up and help make it happen.
- From time to time, you may be asked to assist with projects outside of your normal day‑to‑day responsibilities. This could include supporting our sales and management teams with larger RFP and bid submissions, gathering and organizing documentation, preparing information, performing research, scheduling service and maintenance calls, project management, or helping with other company initiatives.
- You should be comfortable learning new tasks, taking ownership of assignments, and working independently when given a goal.
- We work in a technical industry involving building science, home performance, HVAC, electrification, insulation, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.
- You don't need to arrive as a technical expert, but you should be curious and willing to learn. Over time, we expect you to develop enough understanding of our services to communicate effectively with clients and our technical staff.
- You should be comfortable speaking with new people, communicating professionally over Zoom, and representing Eco Performance Builders at trade shows, job fairs, community events, and other public‑facing opportunities.
