We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to drive the modernization of our application ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in leading the refactoring of monolithic systems into scalable, modular microservices while guiding a team of developers in building high‑quality, cloud‑native solutions.
What You’ll Do- Lead the refactoring and decomposition of monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures.
- Define and enforce best practices for API design, business logic, and system integrations.
- Guide and mentor developers in implementing scalable, maintainable, and secure services.
- Drive adoption of cloud‑native and containerized deployment models, primarily within Azure environments.
- Oversee development and optimization of high‑volume data processing workflows.
- Integrate and consume data from Microsoft Fabric and related data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems.
- Strong experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- 7+ years of hands‑on development experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized environments.
- Solid background in SQL Server, especially handling high‑volume data processing.
- Experience integrating with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms.
- Deep understanding of API design, system integrations, and cloud‑native patterns.
- Experience with event‑driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to large‑scale system modernization initiatives.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Fluent Spanish (required for collaboration with regional teams).
- Shape real‑world AI‑driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
