COPA Soccer Training Center (COPA STC) is a 110,000 sq ft state‑of‑the-art soccer training wonderland located at Shadelands Sports Mall in Walnut Creek, California. COPA STC utilizes much of the world’s most advanced training and assessment technology, some of which we develop ourselves, and some of which we have exclusively licensed for use throughout North America.

We employ leading sports science techniques and advanced training methodologies in our quantitative assessment‑based approach to the development of athletes of all ages and skill levels. Our elite level coaching staff leverages objective data to develop the technical, physical, and cognitive skills of an athlete.

About The Position

COPA STC is looking to add outstanding Soccer Coaching Staff and we want to hear from you regarding a potential soccer coaching role at COPA STC.

We are looking to add soccer coaches to our 6‑8

Yrs program, the 9‑11

Yrs program & the +12

Yrs program.

CO PA would require a coach to be available a minimum of 3 training days a week in a Part‑Time capacity or up to 5/6 training days a week in a Full‑Availability capacity – including 1 weekend day.

Coaching hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 3.30pm – 8.30pm;
Saturday & Sunday 8.30am onwards. With commitment to the same consistent schedule week after week.

  • Year‑round 12‑month coaching calendar
  • Availability minimum 5 days per week | 1 weekend day
  • Additional paid hours opportunities:
    Soccer Camps | 18‑weeks annual calendar, Soccer Clinics | Special Topics Coaching Events

Partial‑Availability Soccer Coach | Part Time Role

  • Minimum of 9-hours on field coaching in small group setting
  • Year‑round 12‑month coaching calendar
  • Availability minimum 3 days per week | 1 weekend day
  • Additional paid hours opportunities:
    Soccer Camps | 18‑weeks annual calendar
Key Responsibilities & Objectives
  • Deliver the COPA Score protocol daily in line with expected data collection standards.
  • Engage with aspiring athletes, youth to pro, on a daily basis.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging technology‑fuelled environment for athletes to thrive.
  • Participate in staff development and outreach events.
