The role focuses on managing container drayage operations from ports to inland destinations, coordinating carriers and drivers, tracking container movements, and resolving delivery issues.
Responsibilities- Coordinate port-to-warehouse deliveries, communicating with trucking partners, monitoring shipment status, and handling documentation such as delivery orders and proof of delivery.
- Support internal pricing and dispatch teams, and track demurrage, detention, and accessorial charges.
- At least 2 years of experience in drayage, trucking, or container logistics.
- A strong understanding of port operations and dispatch, and the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with TMS, EDI tracking tools, and digital freight platforms is preferred.
