Position: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Developer (HighJump/Körber)
Position Summary The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Developer will report directly to the VP of IT & Systems and will assist with all development stages for the SQL databases, write SQL queries, and conduct SQL database troubleshooting. This person will be responsible for the stability, reliability, and performance of the databases. The WMS Developer will also be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of the SQL Server to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications.

This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities As a WMS Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing warehouse management capabilities through effective SQL development and database management

This role is crucial in optimizing the warehouse management systems to ensure smooth operations and efficient order fulfillment

Work closely with our logistics and operations teams to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and support our growing business needs

Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support High Jump WMS and its integration with our ERP and e-commerce systems

Resolve and update IT tickets for WMS SQL-related tasks/issues in a timely and efficient manner

Collaborate with the operations, IT, and business analysis teams to gather requirements and create SQL solutions that address specific warehouse and inventory challenges

Work with application vendors on incidents and technical support as needed

Assist in system upgrades, ensuring the integrity and security of data throughout the process

Provide training and support to team members on SQL-related queries and reporting tools

Create/modify standard operating procedures and documentation as needed

Provide on-call and after-hours support and maintenance duties as required

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in SQL development and warehouse management to continuously improve our systems#LI-HYBRID Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical degree desired

Proven experience as a SQL Developer, preferably with experience in High Jump WMS or related warehouse management systems

Preferred 3 - 5 years of High Jump/Korber development experience in SQL Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance

Familiarity with the Korber/High Jump WMS architecture and data structures is advantageous

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams effectively

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
