Under general supervision, the Delivery Account Manager performs customer service, administrative, and account management duties in support of customers, including order processing, replenishing product at customer facilities and vending machines, managing win/win relationships, and operating delivery vehicles safely.
Typical Duties- Load and unload product into assigned vehicle safely, efficiently, and in an organized manner while keeping the vehicle clean.
- Understand PRIDE’s capabilities and recognize customer needs while aligning both to grow relationships.
- Record and adjust inventory levels using customer software, minimizing exposure to excess and obsolete inventory.
- Track and compile data and documents; follow up and obtain necessary information from external sources.
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport products to designated locations.
- Follow established routes and schedules, delivering products to customer sites in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot minor vending machine technical issues using guides to diagnose and fix problems.
- Prepare and process outbound orders physically and systematically for delivery.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Three or more years of experience in operations, including manufacturing, customer service, materials management, logistics, or planning.
- Must have a satisfactory driving record.
- Effective communication skills, including written business English.
- Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with the team.
- Basic mathematical ability.
- Intermediate computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software; ability to communicate via phone, text, and email.
- Basic troubleshooting ability.
Customer service, problem‑solving, and common‑sense skills. - Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes and work durations.
High School Diploma or GED.
Certificates RequiredValid Driver’s License (may also require additional certifications based on local, state, or contract requirements).
Physical Requirements- Maneuvering in and around the warehouse.
- Bending and stooping.
- Lifting and moving boxes up to 35 pounds.
- Pulling or pushing up to 75 pounds.
- May require use of a pallet jack and box truck.
- Viewing computer screen.
- Operating technology both at home and in the field.
- Operating delivery vehicles.
- Climbing in and out of vehicle.
Work is performed in a warehouse or distribution environment with forklifts and material handling equipment, and in a vehicle while driving. This position may expose employees to noise, heat, cold, wind, and rain, and requires non‑traditional hours.
