Warehouse Worker

Position Summary
Receive, store, organize, lift, move, recycle, ship, and transport warehoused goods and products.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks, as well as verifying, checking in, sorting, and storing parts and merchandise.

• Attach identifying tags or labels, or mark information on cartons or other containers.

• Follow work orders, including organizing parts/components for production.
• Gather, prepare, and pack product for distribution and/or shipping.
• Maintain accurate storage of product and participate in inventory counts as needed.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition.

• Separate, move, and safety store packing materials for recycling.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience/ability to perform work safely in confined work spaces.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment strongly preferred.

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to multitask and work well with others.
• Must be accurate and detail-oriented.
• Ability to interpret and understand complex work instructions.
• Ability to perform tasks with a sense of urgency.
