This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within the organization. This job requires you to work in our Walpole office this is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries in Sage 50. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Generate monthly financial reports for management review and decision-making. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis. Manage cash reporting processes and assist with cash flow forecasting. Participate in weekly finance meetings to review cash requirements and other financial matters. Support the finance department with financial analysis, reporting, special projects, and ad hoc requests.
Maintain accurate financial records through data entry, filing, and document management. Assist with administrative tasks, correspondence, and other duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting required. 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
Experience with ERP systems;
Sage 50 experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong mathematical aptitude and computer proficiency.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Additional Requirements All candidates must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
