The Goldman Group is looking for a skilled Job Captain to join our in-house architecture team and help deliver coordinated, high-quality construction documents for multifamily, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse developments.
This is a hands‑on technical role for someone who enjoys solving complex design challenges, coordinating consultants, and producing accurate, buildable drawing sets. Working directly with our Director of Architecture, you'll play an important role in shaping projects from schematic design through permit, while helping strengthen our studio standards and production workflows.
What You’ll Do- Produce coordinated, code-compliant construction documents for multifamily, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse projects.
- Develop wall sections, building sections, envelope details, waterproofing details, schedules, and construction assemblies.
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, fire protection, and civil consultants.
- Maintain quality control across drawing sets to ensure consistency, accuracy, and constructability.
- Organize Revit models, sheet standards, templates, and detail libraries to improve production efficiency.
- Support the Director of Architecture with consultant coordination, construction administration, scheduling, and day-to-day project responsibilities.
- 5+ years of architectural experience with a strong emphasis on construction documents and technical detailing.
- Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, renovation, or adaptive reuse projects is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to produce and coordinate complete permit and construction document sets.
- Strong proficiency in Revit with working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with building codes, construction processes, and consultant coordination.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.

Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary: $80,000–$95,000
, based on experience - Performance-based bonus eligibility
- Monday–Friday, full-time schedule
- In-person office located in Walpole, MA
