Job DescriptionGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Horticulture LTS will be responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating student performance in an approved Chapter 74 high school Horticulture program.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform those tasks usually associated with the teaching profession in general; be especially responsive to the needs of the students enrolled in Norfolk County Agricultural High School and make a constructive effort to serve the needs of the Norfolk County Agricultural High School as an organization.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:- Compensation: Column 1, Step 1 daily rate, according to the current Norfolk County Agricultural High School teachers’ contract.
- Policy: Finalists are subject to a Criminal Offender Record Information Check (CORI), Sex Offender Registry Information Check (SORI) and Fingerprint Based Record Check in accordance with and as required by Massachusetts State law. In addition to a completed application, each candidate must provide current, pertinent, written references from three sources who were in a position to evaluate the applicant's performance on the job in accordance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations, and in compliance with M.G.L. c.
6, §§ 167-178 and 803 CMR §§ 2.00. - At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
