Monday–Friday | Regular Day Shift
Position Type: 13‑Week Contract (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: $33.00–$35.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Education Lead Teacher to join a warm, supportive childcare center in Walpole, MA. This is a 13‑week contract position working with infants and toddlers in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, thrives in a collaborative setting, and is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experience for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age‑appropriate curriculum and daily activities that support infants' and toddlers' cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe and supported.
  • Supervise children at all times while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Build positive relationships with families by providing regular communication regarding children's progress and daily activities.
  • Observe and document developmental milestones and individual learning goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with assistant teachers and other staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality care and instruction.
  • Support children's routines, including feeding, diapering, toileting, naptime, and transitions, with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Participate in staff meetings and maintain accurate classroom documentation as required.
