Teacher Aide (Recess)
Walpole Public Schools is seeking a teacher aide to work Monday through Friday, 3.75 hours per day, 18.75 hours per week at Old Post Road Elementary School effective August 31, 2026 for the school year.
Teacher Aide RoleThe teacher aide supervises students during lunch and recess periods. The teacher aide also provides clerical support to teachers and administration.
Duties- Work under the direction of the principal as well as classroom teachers.
- Supervise students on the playground and in classrooms during indoor recess.
- Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods.
- Provide support to ensure student safety and emotional regulation.
- Provide clerical support for staff using duplicating, cutting, laminating, and binding equipment.
- Maintain an orderly and clean workstation.
- Assist with student transitions in the classroom and around the building.
